To create my art, I begin by covering the front face of an acrylic canvas with a protec-
tive, opaque film. I then carve into the back of the acrylic canvas and fill the hollows with
colored resin. I repeat this process anywhere from 2-18 times. When the finished work
is completed, I “unveil” the art by removing the front protective covering. The final piece
of art is (1) unseen by anyone, including me, until it is unveiled, and (2) a 3D work of
resin encased in a 2D, wall-appropriate acrylic canvas.
